Let work be 4200 units
so A can complete 100 units per days
therefore, B can complete 126 units per day
and C can complete 189 units per days
Combined B+C = 315 units per days

Therefore to complete 4200 units, number of days = 4200/315 = approx 13 days

My solution is -
Based on Adam's effort, Chris does the job in 21 days, and Bob does it in roughly 42 - 42/3 = 28 days. Now total work = LCM(28,21) = 84. Eff of B = 4 units/day and eff of C = 3 units/day. Together, their efficiency is 7 units/day. No of days = Total work(84)/Combined efficiency(7) = 12. rounded up to 13 because it was 26 per cent, slightly more than 3. something.

Three carpenters, Adam, Bob, and Chris, are entrusted with office furniture work. Adam can complete the job in 42 days.

If Bob is 26% more efficient than Adam and Chris is 50% more efficient than Bob, then Bob and Chris together can finish the job in approximately how many days?

Adam can complete the job in 42 days.
Work done by Adam in a day = 1/42
Work done by Bob in a day = 1.26/42 = 3/100
Work done by Chris in a day = 1.26*1.5/42 = 9/200

Work done by Bob and Chris in a day = 3/100 + 9/200 = 15/200 = 3/40
Bob and Chris together can finish the job in approximately = 40/3 = 13 1/3 days
