I’m going to start muting people if we’re gonna continue to spread misinformation stress everybody in this thread out. It’s not helpful.

The speculation is not helpful to the other applicants. I’ve told everybody yesterday to stop doing this.

I called the school and they told me that they haven’t released decisions yesterday. Why can’t you just accept that as an answer?

In Round 1, the portal was updated at around 2:00 pm (i was waitlisted), so I assume it will be similar today. If I haven’t received a call by then, it’s most likely a rejection or a waitlist?

It’s just a matter of few hours, you are waitlisted or denied admission, you will know in a few hours. I am fine with this but for others please understand, before doing panic guesses and raising anxiety, there could be someone in this group who might be going through mental health issues, anxiety, someone could be suffering with panic attacks. Nothing will change, your outcome, and guessing 2 hours before it is supposed to be announced won’t make any difference. I understand totally that this process is stressful, and I understand where this is coming from. I am in the same boat, I am also waiting, but let’s think about others also. We want to be future leaders, having empathy and consideration for others is important.

This group is meant to look out for each other. I have had such good people who contacted me themselves from this group and helped me. They didn’t need to, but they did. They went out of their way, took time out from their busy schedules and helped me. Perhaps, that is why they are admitted or likely to get admitted. Because they had empathy for someone else. Guys, I’m in a weird situation and need your help. I had a horrible interview experience. My interviewer was an Indian+very senior alumni (grad of 2007). I knew the moment I got his profile that this could be the most difficult interview I will ever have.
He rescheduled the interview 3 times and finalised the time only 3 hours before the interview. I’m not sure what adcom will make of this. Anyways, interview started, and this guy seemed pissed off about everything. He kept challenging almost every sentence I said. He started by saying why I don’t want to be in sustainability (dude I spent 7 years in sustainability only to be told this). Next he said why coming back to India to start my own firm is a bad bad idea. Next he kept complaining about how Adanis are looting the country and how Modi is favoring only the big business leaving others to starve (this guy was running his own firm). He had a horrible connection and we shifted platform from teams to gmeet to WhatsApp eventually. He ended by suggesting me to explore technical courses instead and didn’t even allow me to counter.

Sorry for the long rant. I had so much expectations from this interview, Fuqua is my top choice school and it is pretty much all I have in R2. Should I reach out to adcom trying to explain my situation? Please suggest something.

Thanks to my interviewer, i don’t have to worry about results today at all.

Not everyone gets a call. Please stop the speculation. How hard is that to understand? Please manage your own anxieties, this place is not an environment to dump your emotions onto others because they are also worried. Just wait. No, you will not receive a waitlist or reject because you didnt receive a call by now. Stop the speculation.

Tired of having to say this over and over again. Business school and recruiting also tests how well you can follow instructions, so why the constant push back?

For example, I had to warn someone yesterday for continuing to post the same waitlist forum link, and then in that same warn message thread, they then asked me that question again about the waitlist link. Like please follow instructions.

I should’ve deleted those messages as soon as they were sent. Any new messages from users that relay any form of speculation outside of official decision details relayed by Fuqua will be met with a temporary mute till end of day.

I don’t want others making others more stressed out than they need to be
