Do at least 20 percent of the organization members who are over 40 have college degrees?

(1) Among the member of the organization who are over 40, 24 percent of the female members and 16 percent of the male members have college degrees.
(2) Female members constitute 55 percent of the organization’s membership.

My answer is E

Option 1: Gives us the information regarding the percentage of men and women above 40 who have a college degree.
Insufficient to calculate final percentage.

Option 2: Tells us about the percentage of women holding the organizations membership, but does not tell us how many ( in percentage) are above 40 or any other relevant info.
Insufficient.

Combining the two we see that we do not have enough information to extract a valid percentage of men and women above 40, hence E.

My answer to this Question is E

Option 1 : Insufficient since only % of Female & male above 40 are mentioned & we dont know the count of male & female above 40
Option 2: Only female % wrt to total organization is given
Even combining 1 & 2, no solution can be answered.
Hence chose E.
