We need to find the age of Anne ?

Statement 1:

(1) Next year, Anne will be half as old as her mother.

Since, we don’t know the age of mother. We can’t get the age of Anne.

Hence, Insufficient

Statement 2:

(2) In five years, Anne will be twice as old as a decade ago.

(A+5) = 2* (A -10)

Solving we get, A = 25

Hence, Sufficient

Option B
