P.S : I have scheduled my exam for Monday so any last-minute tips would be appreciated!

On exam day, consider doing a few questions beforehand in case you feel it takes you a bit of time to warm up. If it's been a while since you've seen the ID you'll present, making sure it's valid and you know where it is could also be helpful.

I wanted to check what recent patterns candidates have observed in the Verbal section of the exam. A few months ago, I heard that back-to-back RCs were being given in the exam. If anyone has any insights on this, please let me know.

Hi. Good question! Having back to back RC's is not a pattern. Just randomness of the GMAT. It is possible in the old and new format to get a certain sequence of the questions including getting multiple (or even all) RC's in a row. There are not that many filler CR's since out of 23 questions, around 14 are consistently RC's.

While there are new questions that are coming out, there are no new formats or patterns.
What you should be ready though is that if you are doing really well on the GMAT, you will face a question you have never solved before (does not mean it is weird but it means you won't know how to solve it based on the prior practice so you will have to use your wits) so focusing on the fundamental logic and reading skills is more important than solving thousands of questions.
