As someone with test anxiety, I decided to get the sections that I found the hardest out of the way first, with my test order being Quant > Data Insights > Verbal. Some hard questions at the beginning of the Quant section made me second guess myself and slow down more during the Data Insights part, with the feeling of being rushed during the DI section. I took the break before the Verbal section, and practiced some yoga and meditation to calm myself down. If it weren't for TTP's confidence and mental reset strategies, I don't think I would've done as well going into Verbal because my emotions/mentality was brought down by my anxiety about how well I did on my previous sections. I spent 4 months (~10-15 hours/week studying) with
Target Test Prep (TTP)'s flexible monthly plan, and I thought it helped a lot with refreshing my Quant skills. I ended up with a 675 GMAT Focus (Quant 81, DI 81, Verbal 88), which was lower than what I wanted, but decent enough for me to decide to not retake the GMAT. Overall, I thought I got over the panic well, and I'd highly recommend taking a prep course so you feel more prepared and supported with a team there for you.
