Hello everyone,
Last week i took the GMAT FE Online Edition and before i could even start with my test, the proctor terminated the session due to network problems.
All the previous system checks were flawless, also in the check-in process itself, but when i was asked to show my surroundings the proctor told me that my internet connection is too bad to continue. She gave me the opportunity to change my connection and asked me to perform a speedtest. When showing her the speedtest results of 4,5 Mbps Upload she asked me again to perform a speedtest but recommended me to the ookla speedtest, where i could not get over 3 Mbps, while other websites showed me 6-17 Mbps. According to the Official GMAT Online system requirements the minimum is 2 Mbps but she told me i cant start the test under 5 Mbps so she terminated the session after another try of checking my surroundings, recommending me to contact the support.
After contacting the support the same day i received an answer the next day that my case has been added to the review queue and it can take up to 2 weeks to complete the review.
So my question: How big are my chances of getting a refund or free reschedule? Will the free reschedule be also valid for taking the exam in a test center? Will my possible claim of that vanish if i will book a new exam?
I am not under the heaviest time pressure but i would prefer not wasting any additional time so i would really appreciate any help on this topic since i couldnt find clear answers on other threads with similar experiences.
Regards,
