I feel like the answer should be D 220% , 1.4^6x= 2000/100(0.7^6y), y/x = 1.4^6x/20*0.7^6, 20/64 = y/x or x/y = 64/20 , which is 3.2
so 320% more they have asked for the increase so 320-100 = 220 which is D

The approach suggested is correct. Just one small correction.

Since we are already using 1.4 & 0.7 as multipliers for Hotdogs and Crepes respectively, the exponents will reduce by 1 i.e. (1.4)^5 and (0.7)^6 because multiplying 1.4 with Crepes will already give us the resultant value for the first year. Same for Crepe.

So now if we assume (1.4)^5 and (0.7)^5 in the solution suggested above, we get H/C = 2^5/20 i.e. H/C = 32/20 = 1.6.

Which means Hot Dogs were 1.6 times the Crepes sold at the start of the six years. Since question asks by what % were hot dog sales greater than crepe sales, we get the answer 60%. Hence A is the correct answer.
