I have graduated from CMR college of engineering and Technology
ISBeacon

Which college did you graduate from akhila2003?

Considering the relatively less experience, would suggest that you aim for a 685+ on the GMAT.

Good luck!

Hi akhila2003

Academically, the profile already looks very strong. A 10 CGPA in 10th, 97.6% in 12th, and a 9.14 CGPA in Computer Science shows excellent consistency throughout, so that entire academic leg is already sorted.
The next big focus should be the GMAT Focus, especially since the plan is to take it in July. The best approach is to prepare with a 99th percentile mindset instead of targeting a safe score. That is usually when people end up getting their peak score.
For the 2028 intake, the timing actually makes sense because the work experience is slightly on the lower side right now for top MBA programs. By 2028, there will be stronger stories, more ownership at work, and overall, much more to contribute to the classroom and peer group.
One important thing to focus on from now onwards is differentiation. Since Indian engineers form a very common applicant pool, it is important to build more techno-functional and business-oriented stories alongside the technical work. Cross-functional projects, stakeholder management, process improvement, product thinking, leadership initiatives, and business impact stories will help the profile stand out much more.
The extracurricular side also looks ok, but it is important to continue being active till the time of applications. That parallel leg matters a lot for MBA admissions, and college extracurriculars alone are usually not enough for top schools.
Overall, the foundation is already very good. The next 1.5 to 2 years should now be used to maximise impact at work, build stronger leadership stories, stay consistent with extracurriculars, and aim for the highest possible GMAT score. That can make the profile very competitive for ISB.

We encourage you to inquire with us so we can schedule a free strategy session for guiding you.

Thanks and all the best!
