Hello Neha_K17

First of all, I would suggest spending a little more time introspecting on why you truly want to do an MBA. “I want to make my life better” is honest. Still, for applications and interviews, you will need clearer motivations, such as leadership growth, better opportunities, financial stability, or long-term career progression in supply chain and operations.
Regarding the score, do not prepare with a fixed number in mind. For your profile, a strong score is definitely important, as academics are on the humble side, and hence, the right mindset is to prepare for the 99th percentile. That is usually when people reach their peak score. If you are considering the GMAT route, 655+ is around the average for schools like ISB, and naturally, the higher you go above the average, the better it is.
Your experience in operations-heavy roles and with prominent companies does add value to your profile. The nature of your work can become a differentiating factor if positioned well. However, the number of job switches is something you will need to explain properly in your applications and interviews. Since there are layoffs and career progression involved, the story just needs to be presented thoughtfully and honestly.
For supply chain, I would suggest targeting the top business schools in India confidently. They can absolutely provide the opportunities and ecosystem you are looking for. Beyond that, a lot also depends on how well you use that ecosystem once you get there.
Overall, focus on building a strong score, gaining clarity on your goals, and shaping your story properly. You should be in a good position moving forward.

Thanks and all the best!

1. How much score will I need?
2. I want to continue in Supply chain only, which one would be suitable college for me in India?
