First, let's see what we have available already:
Let:
x = speed for first leg
y = speed for second leg
z = total distance between WD and LM

We need to find: z/7
where,
z = 4x + 3y

Okay. Let's move to (1)

It tells me: 8x+6y = 700

which when I simplify comes down to 4x + 3y = 350

So my answer now comes to a choice between A and D.

Looking at (2):

It tells me x + y = 110

But I till need the individual values of x and y to find the average speed.

Not sufficient.

Answer is A
