0.4T + 1.5M + 2S = 28.5 ---- (1)
0.6T + 2M + 1.5S = 35 ---- (2)

from eq 1 to eq 2 --> T increased by 0.2, M increased by 0.5, S decreased by 0.5 (as a result price increased by 35 - 28.5 = 6.5)

0.8T + 2.5M + 1S = ? ---- (3)
from eq 2 to eq 3 --> T increased by 0.2, M increased by 0.5, S decreased by 0.5 (as a result price should again increase by 6.5)

Therefore: 35 + 6.5 = 41.5 C

Not sure whether my way of approach is correct, but I got the answer right!

Observe the pattern in change of weights of each individual (Shrimp, Mussels, Squid)
400g , 1.5kg , 2kg =$ 28.50
600g , 2kg , 1.5kg =$ 35.00
800g , 2.5kg, 1kg =$ ?

The change in weights is symmetrical
200g increased in Shrimps
500g increased in Mussels
500g decreased in Squids
So the price difference is $6.50.. ($35.00-$28.50)
$35.00+$6.50=$41.50

Answer option C IMO
