We need to determine which plant’s line is the last to cross the 50% level.
Harbor Plant crosses the 50% level first, followed by Ridge Plant. Valley Plant crosses the 50% level last, between 2021 and 2022.
Therefore, the correct selection is Valley Plant.
Drop-down 2:
In 2020, the point for Ridge Plant is slightly above 40%, or approximately 42%.
Since all electricity came from either renewable or nonrenewable sources, the nonrenewable portion was approximately:
100% - 42% = 58%
The difference between the nonrenewable and renewable portions was therefore approximately:
58% - 42% = 16 percentage points
