Mindset is a game changer.
This is what I found after watching countless testimonials and a few I have experienced.
These are points that people who cross the conceptual/basic threshold score tend to realise.
1. Solving all the easy and medium question and a few hard ones can get you above average score.
2. The exam day can go wrong in so many ways like not getting transportation, reaching late to exam centre, getting bad sound cancellation headphones, sitting palce close to exit, biological pressure etc., but being test ready like with preparation, simulating exam conditions with scratch pad, and knowing what the procedure at the test centre can give you stability. Little things count at these high pressure moments.
3. Just like the movie 3 idiots- repeating these words all is well, if tell yourself a mantra or small pep talk you tend to behave in that state.
To sum it one line: Perform your possible best in the worst possible exam day scenario.
Hope this helps
Cheers

A GMAT realization I wish I had earlier:
Doing 100 questions a day doesn’t necessarily mean you’re improving.
Sometimes, spending 30 minutes understanding
why you got 3 questions wrong teaches you more than solving 30 new ones.
What’s one GMAT lesson you learned the hard way?
