Ok I found it. Now what makes the books stand out more than the others. I am reading up on it now and it says that avoids teaching you the test taking techniques? Is what makes the official guide so great is that it uses previous exams?

Are there any other books to get to fit any slight loop holes that the official guide might overlook?

The official guide is published by the people that give the actual exam. The questions in the OG are the "real thing".

I've looked at questions from other providers, like Kaplan, Princeton Review & ARCO, and I can say with certainty many of the questions appearing in these books bear no relation real GMAT questions. They have flawed logic and test obscure tricks will not help you on the GMAT. These questions could be easier, or harder, but will not help you prepare because they are so different than real GMAT questions.

I understand. Thanks a lot man. You have been such a great help to me.

I just ordered OG11th edition online from Amazon. Are there any others books that I should keep an eye on for or is this one good enough?

If you struggle with sentence correction; pick up the manhattan SC guide; it's pretty good.

I've also picked up the Kaplan 800, which I read was a good supplement.

I also recommend the Verbal/Math workout books by Kaplan.

The verbal was very helpful to me, as that was my weak spot. I think the workout books have the perfect balance of education and strategy.
