I just wanted to share that I recently took GMAT and scored 710 (44 v and 44 q). I know to some of you quant jocks out there the quant score is not that great. But I'm really bad at math so for me this is good. Besides I plan to spin the fact that ironically my undergrad was pretty quantitative.
I had taken the GMAT before and scored 640. This time I didn't study nearly as much and went in really relaxed. Basically I just thought that if I had to apply with a 640 I would live and so I didn't really stress at all. I think this made a HUGE difference for me. I didn't feel like I was doing great, but I was also really mad during the verbal because I sitting by the door and there were people in the lobby being really loud. It was so annoying. Maybe getting mad is my key to scoring well...lol
Also, I've decided that I completely do not trust the verbal scoring of any practice test. I scored a 650 the day prior to my test in GMATPREP and the verbal was like 35. For some reason these tests always really underscored my verbal. I have no idea if it's just me or what. Anways, just wanted to let folks know that practice tests are not always accurate and that I think nerves/stress plays a bigger part than most people think.

Good luck to everyone!
