I plan to retake my GMAT after 5 years. The first time around I scored 570(Q 47/ V23) after 5 weeks of preparation - a bad score and hence did not do anything about it then.
I am looking to improve my score substantially - around the 700's. I started my preparation this time by taking the crack gmat test (since it was already installed on my computer) and was disappointed with a score of 545. I am looking for advice in following a structured approach to tackle the verbal section. Also, information on the material to be used will be of great help.

Manhattan Review 7 series verbal books or all
I heard good words about Princeton books but dunno which ones

Thanks for your suggestions. One more question. The 1000SC does not have explanation for its answers. Is there a place I can refer to for answers? Or do I look for help on the forum.
