Just curious to know the meaning/thoughts behind your usernames. Some are self explanatory (eg. nervousGMAT :)) but some are just out there- Kryzak (AND he is not eatern european!!!!).

I can start- Dosa: Indian crepe-like dish which is my favorite :)

And for the record, don is NOT the short form for DONNA. I just picked something that sort of goes with DOSA :)

At the beginning of this process, when I was more concerned about anonymity, I chose a username that would have no relation to me in any respect (this was before I joined this forum). I've used varients of Steel for sports leagues and such, so I just truncated my username from fantasy football hehe.

I couldn't think of a clever one, so I just used the nickname of a character from one of the best 80's TV shows: The A-Team.

Lt. Templeton 'Faceman' Peck

"Howlin' Mad" Murdock wouldn't have been a bad choice either.

Kudos for ya dosa, I was thinking about asking that a couple of days ago :)

I thought that Don was something like the Italian designation...



Do you remember the movie Jerry Macguire? The kwam came from the Cuba Gooding Jr's character, you have to have the "kwam" factor, since then I use as nickname Kwam everywhere, but people think I'm Korean :lol: Later I realized that I misspelled as the correct is "Kwan"

back in my rugby playing days in the 90's my fellow forwards gave me this name (i think after puffdaddy now known as p'diddy)

i have another alias but decided not to use that since its too similar to my real name

mine was created out of thin air for "alias" purposes. I wanted a name that was unique and cool sounding, but it ended up being an Eastern European last name. I do have other aliases that I use which are totally unique, but "kryzak" came first, and it's stuck with people who know me in real life, so I use it.

I might even make it my middle name (which is the initial "K") :P

Quite simple. Four years ago I decided to choose a new nickname. At the same time I was buying various snowboarding stuff and liked the name of the company on my helmet - R.E.D. Thought that it could be a good nickname and use it since then.
