Hello,
I completed my GMAT today with a really bad score of 430.In the first attempt I got a score of 480 and verbal and analytical was ok..Analytical(5.5 and verbal (27)).So I decided that I need to retake, with a better score.
I got better improvement in the scores in the practice
Barron's (570)
Gmat Prep(530 Q31,V31) yesterday..
But all of a sudden today I landed up with a terrible score of 430 , to my shock.verbal(v18).I know I am capable of a better score, atleast in the beginning 500's...Having booked a gmat appt in just within 3 weeks,didnot help me either...One more thing, my first attempt, verbal score was 27 and in the second attempt , quans score was 32.However, I was not even able to bring the same score in one GMAT test.
Now I am totally devastated and dejected...any one..help pls..I read in the forum that Gmatprep was true indicator of the test score,how come in my case, there is a difference of -100 points...

Hey man, keep your head up and try to determine your weaknesses. Then attack them. Practice with some practice timed CAT tests, such as GMAT Prep. Take the test over and over again until you are scoring where you want to.

Sorry to hear about that...
I have yet to take my exam, it will be my first time. In ... 3 days!! I'm so nervous and been stressing out about it b/c I don't have much confidence in myself.
Although, I can't offer you much help, I know from reading this forum these couple of days that the people here are very helpful.
Just wanted to let you know, you are not alone!! Keep trying and don't give up!
