GMATPrep software update

Question

Hi guys,

I heard back from pearson from their help email address, and they were able to send me an ftp location where I could download a non-buggy gmatprep software. I don't want to post the link because of privacy reasons for them, but if you email them directly needing valid software they should be able to provide you a good version.

Does this new version of GMAT prep have any new questions in them, or are those old questions?

Old questions, the the version they have on their website spits out different questions than the ones you took on the test, and the scores are probably inaccurate

you can download gmatprep from mba.com . its free of charge and def. not buggy.

I do apologize for the issues you've been having with the GMAT Prep.
 
Late Friday afternoon, it was discovered that the wrong version of the GMAT Prep was posted to the MBA.com website which has this bug in the software. However, I have another location for you to download the software from that is the correct version of the software which has had this issue repaired. 
 
You can download that version of the software from: --

The file will be called GMATPrepSetup.exe. Just double click the executable, and it will prompt you to Save, Run, or Cancel. Click Save, and save the GMATPrepSetup anywhere on your PC, then run the installer from there. Please note: You will need to uninstall the current version of the GMAT Prep software on your machine, before installing this one.

Please let me know if you have any other issues with the GMAT Prep Software, and I do apologize for any inconvenience.

That doesn't sound very logical. If they knew that the version on their website was incorrect, why wouldn't they just update that rather than providing a different download location? I can't believe this is the organization I have to entrust my GMAT future to.

I called tech support for GMATPrep this morning before I downloaded the software off of MBA.com. I asked if the buggy version was still on the website, and was told that it was not. So according to them, the version that you get off MBA.com should be fixed now.

Oh and I just took the first GMATPrep test a few hours ago. Worked fine, no problems.

But if that wasn't a real 740....just kidding, it was fine.
