I just got the call and I am in. I live locally in Chicago.

I was rejected at all of my backups, but Booth is my #1 so I don't even care anymore.

WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!

Congrats. Finally a chicagoan getting a call.

Just curious but by backups, do you mean MIT, Wharton and Kellogg (based on your profile)?

Yeah, those were my backups. I know, everyone thinks Wharton is so fantastic, but I wasn't impressed at all!

M/30/770/7 years WE/Indian

Said that for internationals 100% loan with no co-signor or SSN or credit history..the new loan is much better than last year's :-)

Booth was my first choice too, I know so much about it, toured the campus, know professors, know coworkers who went there, even know random facts about the school that the tour guide didn't know, ... plus, I back it up with my stats. I still haven't received a call. I've given up most all hope. This is certainly one of the most sad, depressing, embarrassing, and frustrating days in the past couple years. At least we're all in it together! Peace out

Will the loan cover living expenses? I got some $$ from Booth but nothing impressive. I would hate to decline because of finances.

Tdave: Loan is 100% budget...around 170k. You might need some savings to make up for the difference and consider the internship as well. If you get $$ from school that is netted from your loan. As far as I know, you are not allowed to double dip.
