My status is still "Submitted".
But another line was added today: "Your application is complete and currently under review."

Is this what others are seeing?

I submitted a few hours before the deadline...

I submitted in the 3rd round and a few hours before the submission deadline. My status shows the same "submitted" and "Your application is complete and currently under review".

Have any of the 3rd round applicants heard back at all?

This is from the goings on from another forum. Two people responded within a couple hours saying 1. They got an email, 2. They had a friend who got an email.

I'm still waiting... Same boat. :)

In the past, they have released invites on a rolling basis and continue to release them up until few days to deadline.

4/29 is the R2 reply deadline, so they should have better idea on the numbers in early May.

no need to be so secretive dude, no one will get an advantage over you if you just tell them the name of the forum...

he read this in biz week, someone had a 730 gmat / 3.5 ugpa and 3 years of experience and got an interview, another person said their friend got an interview who went to MIT / 3 years / 790 gmat - i'm saying this off the top of my head - check business week forums (b-school) and click on the stanford 2012 topic

Mine also says that my app "is complete and under review". It's said that since the same day everyone else had it said.

My bad, I wasn't trying to be "secretive". Good luck. I agree that they keep sending invites out, and it makes sense that most would go out after 4/29.

I don't think the bulk of the interview invites have gone out yet based upon previous year's information.

well i think i am done... someone with a nearly identical background to me just accepted a spot at GSB... i don't think stanford is interested in having two of the same people at their school :)

talked to someone at adcom - they said "bulk" have not gone out but they had no way to know for sure... another friend of mine told me "there is still hope" - but it looks slimmer by the day as we get closer to may 1st

PS If Stanford is who it says it is, it seems to me that having an exact same 10 word profile as someone else who got in is not a negative on your behalf. Stanford says that it looks beyond the experiences to how you learned from them... so it isn't necessarily the experiences that matter.

Does anyone know when R2 admits have to respond by? I imagine that after GSB knows how many people are not accepting, theyll start culling thru the WL...and we MIGHT hear something.


Anyone on the WL hear anything? i/v invite? admitted? hopefully at least someone has had some good luck...

Just called and tried to get some clarification on the situation. I asked your question about WL, and from her reply, it seems they are concentrating right now with interview invites still on the R3 people, but may move to WL people later. She said it is still early in the process at this point.

If you look at previous year's data from business week blog, the majority of the invites went out the first week of May, IF the blog is a good sample of the population. A few went out before Admit weekend. But this week towards the end and early next week would be when I expect some action.

Best of luck to all of you. With so many awesome profiles, it basically comes down to that. =P
