Hi Experts,

How are business schools in Israel ? How about post MBA oppurtunities in Israel ?
do these colleges have internations reputation, Especially for Indian Students ?
I have come across the below schools in the asian schools ranking.

1. Hebrew University of Jerusalem - Jersualem
2. Tel Aviv University - Tel Aviv
3. Technion - Israel Institute of Technology - Haifa
4. Ben-Gurion University of the Negev-Beer Sheva, Sede Boqer, Eilat
5. University of Haifa -Haifa

Let me know if i have missed any other good school in the country.
Your information about these colleges will be very much useful for me.

Hi Iwillscore 750.

I am Israeli and know the scene pretty well. All those programs are reasonably good but none of them are a top 100 program on a worldwide level. In fact, I believe you missed the best program in Israel from the Interdisciplinary center (though this is just my opinion).

Academically the programs you mentioned are not bad at all. In fact, I would venture to estimate they are at a level similar to top fifty schools in the US. Unfortunately, they are missing one of the most important factors of an MBA - networking and door opening. They are very weak in these areas by comparison to top fifty schools.

An added factor is that it can be quite difficult to obtain a work visa in Israel if you are a non-citizen.

On the other hand, an MBA in Israel is relatively inexpensive (less than 10,000 dollars for the degree) and salaries are not bad by Israeli standards (you can make around 25,000 NIS a month for a good job, which is close to 7000 dollars).

Still, unfortunately, I have to admit that an international student who scores over 700 in his GMAT score should not waste his energy and time on these schools.
