Hi all!
After a long holiday I can tell you that in my own way I finally did it on December 09! ( I has also applied 2nd round and I am interviewing with top MBA this month)
My advice is NEVER GIVE UP and practice as much as you can giving priority to understand in depth the subjects first and then to do a lot of exercises. Do not schedule the exam unless you are ready!
IMO there is no verbal guide that is good enough ( I am international and tried everything from Pincenton to Kaplan, Manhatan, and so on)
For the applications my advice is to hire an experienced tutor. Admissions can´t evaluate you in depth so they use gmat as first and most important filter, then business experience, gpa and community service.
If you want to go to Harvard or Stanford in general you must be very young too. Harvard also interviews people who are in the top 5 % of college.
All the best to all and thanks to this great community for everything!
