This stat tracking idea has been brought up before numerous times. Whereas for law-school, GPA and LSAT are the main factors (reason why you can draw a \ line across the admits and dings), for b-school GPA and GMAT are only part of the picture (not even the primary part). Admissions411 has self reported GPA and GMAT if you want to take a look. But the numbers are all over the place. If you look through the admit/ding section, you can get an idea of how arbitrary b-school admission is. People often get in top 5 (sometimes w/ $) and get dinged/WLed at top 15/20. Some people get in with sub-700 and average GPA, while others get dinged with 750+ and 3.8+ to the same school.

Would probably need a 3D graph for b-school admissions (WE axis?).
I still think there would be some value to the GPA/GMAT system but definitely not as much as law school at all.
I think the accepted/waitlisted/rejected system on that board where users state where they have applied and their admissions results is really amazing so that mods don't have to update threads...etc.
