THought I'd report my little drama to the Club. On December 22, as I was packing up to head home for the holidays, I got the long awaited confirmation email from INSEAD regarding my R2 application - but the news was not good. I was advised that my transcripts from undergrad and law school has not arrived. I had sent them by courier and when I checked the tracking number, they were confirmed as delivered well in advance of the deadline. I then through the tracking number out, which in retrospect was a mistake. In any event, I responded to the message advising that the transcripts had in fact been delivered and could they please check their records again. My admissions contact advised me not to panic and that she would do what she could to find them on her end.

A long wait over the Christmas holidays resulted in a happy email today that my transcripts have now been located and that my application is deemed complete.

Hello everybody,

I'm a R2 applicant for Sept '11 from Spain.

I have started to panic as Jan 14th fast approaches and I'd like to share with you my anxiety.

It seems nobody has already got an invite, hasn't?

I don't think it's always exactly so

When I applied first time I got the interview invite two weeks before the deadline. This however was in R3, so much fewer applicants.


BTW to introduce myself on this thread: I'm Russian reapplicant to R2 Sep-11. Before I applied to Jan-11 class, got waitlisted then got myself off the waitlist.
I'm 30, with decent international experience, a lot of WE in managing software/telecom projects, 740/Q50/V39. LBS is my only alternative except HEC Paris, which I was admitted to but did not matriculate due to a variety of reasons.

Just an FYI: for R1 12J applicants, INSEAD started sending out interview invites ~ 10 days before the interview notification deadline. The acceptances started flowing 2 days before the deadline.

I think very few receive emails this early..the bulk is couple of days before the deadline or even on the day of the deadline..but yep I guess we should expect some invites soon...goodluck!!
wanted to relax too!wouldn't mind getting a late email!but a positive one!:p

Tuition fees for the September 2011 and January 2012 entries amount to €56,000.

If offered a place on the INSEAD MBA programme, you will be given a deadline by which you should secure your seat by paying a non-refundable first instalment of the programme fees totaling €5,000. This first instalment is generally due four weeks after having received the admission offer.

Approximately one month before the programme starts you will pay a non-refundable second tuition instalment equivalent to about 60% of total tuition, €34,000. The final tuition instalment of €17,000 is due approximately three and a half months after the programme start.

yep that was a "pleasant" surprise I noticed today also. It was included in the finance chat invitation :( they must have just changed the website also. 4,000 extra is quite a bit of a raise nearly 8%.
