jackhrobbins,

Congratulations - 720 - is a great score.

I encountered a couple question types that I had basically never seen before in all my prep.

Can you tell us a little bit more (within the legal limits of course) what you mean by new question types? (e.g - Area of a hexagon kind of questions or...)

As far as new question types, I did see a couple geometry related questions that looked unusual. So yes, I would brush up on the geometry if you haven't already. Like I said though, I think the gmatclub tests really assisted me. I had taken the GMAT once prior, and scored 44 on quant. I got to a 48 due to those tests. Of course, I scored a 47 on verbal last time! But the difference between a 47 and a 41 is less than you think (98 percentile vs 92 percentile). In other words, I think a 48 vs 44 on quant is a bigger gap than a 47 vs 41 on verbal.

I took it in 2004, 44 Q 47 V...730.

Although many are claiming the test has gotten harder in the last 6 years. I would tend to agree.
