If c is a positive integer between 1 and 9 inclusive, and n= 9,446 + c, then what is the value of c ?
(1) n is divisible by 5. For a number to be divisible by 5, its units digit must be 0 or 5. Thus, c could be 4 or 9. Not sufficient.
(2) n is divisible by 9. For a number to be divisible by 9, the sum of its digits must be divisible by 9. Thus, c can only be 4. In this case n = 9,446 + 4 = 9,450 --> 9 + 4 + 5 0 = 18. Sufficient.
Answer: B.

1. c can be 4 or c can be 9 - not sufficient.
2. c is 9, otherwise, it's not possible for n to be divisible by 9.
