Take your time while solving the questions. If your hit rate is not good do not look at the clock and feel bad about not understanding the problem.

Even if you take 1 hour to solve, do it. Note down the moral of the story i.e. how you will approach to a similar question. You can not learn quant if you do not learn and remember the concepts.

Learn from your mistakes and revise whatever you have covered multiple times.

1. to minimize silly mistakes:
recheck your calculation.it will only take few seconds but it's important to reduce no. of silly errors.
2. find out the area in which you're uncomfortable and work on that area by solving around 50-100 questions from that particular area.
3. try solving MGMAT quant and gmatclub tests. They'll teach you concepts.
