My cousin is a 2003 Harvard graduate and she is reall upset and depressed she got a 3.0 GPA. She is smart but by no means a genius. She said that herself in a low confidence. Not only that, she said she really hate all her Harvard teachers for making the classes so hard.
I told her Harvard is not known for being easy but the opposite. She is still really upset about the low grades she earned from school. She did well really on SATs to get in but earning low grades destroyed part of her essence. She went through short depression cycles during her time in college and even still she complains about the college after graduation. She told me she regrets going to an a*hole college ruining her academic record. She always wanted to earn a 3.9 GPA no matter what the college but reality just bit her. I was thinking about working really hard to go to Harvard and I don't care about earning low grades but I feel really sorry for my relative. I want to get an ivy degree, not left-over legacy records like Al Gore and George Bush made partially known about their records.
Anyone feeling the same as her. I want to get some recommendation as I am close to her and i want her to feel better. These short depression cycles is making her a bit insane and judgement impaired.
