Tell her to get over it, life goes on. Also life or career success isn't all about academics.

Those are okay suggestions and no, it won 't be easy for her to get over it since she wants deep insight to get over her chronic nightmares. Man, pressure on elite students made my cuz shutdown and sick from the inside in some time frames.

Harvard is actually known for it's grade inflation. But I'll let that one pass. If she is really shutting herself off because of this, the only thing she can do is to go to a therapist and seek treatment. There are hundreds of people who feel the same way and trust me, life goes on. Having a 3.0 is not the end. If you can advise your cousin about other opportunities to pursue, then do it. If not, refer her to a therapist. That's the best you can do.

And please don't post threads here that are irrelevant to the GMAT forum. Mods, if you can move this to the off-topic forum, that'd be good.

I don't think a 3.0 is something that your cousin should worry about. But then again, I may be saying that because I have just a 3.1, but by no means from an ivy league...

I'd say therapy. No matter what, life goes on...everyone has to get over humps and roadblocks in life from time to time.
