Is Knewton, a new start up, Good?

Question

Knewton is a prep company that I read in a news article and it is supposed to be an online focused test school. What strike me the most is the company is supposed to be unique from other preps in having an adaptive learning system much better than assessment papers to identify a student's weakness and strengths.

Along with being cheaper than the average test industry, also, I heard they have a rigorous hiring criteria for best teachers like Manhattan GMAT. I also read good reviews from consulting companies like Baine & Consulting (might get the name wrong, sorry) giving the organization between 77 and 83 on a 100 scale.

I mentioned the innovative teaching and the good reviews of the company, but I want to hear from the consumer side how this company helped you guys in your GMAT pursuit. I am very picky at this point in choosing a well operated prep company.

They have great instructors and have definitely helped me increase my score. You can watch all of their sessions on demand and have plenty of practice problems with good explanations. They have a 50 point guarantee which is also nice.

Thank you guys for your posts. I didn't know a quick start-up was already making success stories within or after two two years. I currently think their strategies must be refine and very effective in helping you guys achieve high endeavor-able scores. Their teaching models must given you a lot in prepping for the test.

I didn't find it helpful, but that may just be me. Their concept notes are not very detailed and I just don't think the 12 lessons by video were enough to adequately prepare for the exam. You will need other books to study from anyway, which for me went much more in depth. Also their pre and post assessment quizzes they make you complete for the guarantee were a complete waste of time. I was mostly focusing on quant though, I didn't really need the help with the verbal, I hear the verbal is better so it may be good if that is your weak area. The teachers were great and I liked the live interaction, just not enough to be your only source of prep in my opinion.
