I took the GMAT on August 14 and had an overall score of 630. This is the breakdown of my score
Verbal: 41/92%
Quant: 34/38%
AWA: 6.0
It is obvious that I am much better on verbal than on Quant. I am currently enrolled in a part time MBA program at Zicklin Baruch in New York City but I am thinking of transferring to a full time program (even if I lose the credits of my current classes). I have excellent work experience in major corporations as well as my own business and do a lot of work in the community. The only problem is my GMAT and GPA, I went to NYU and ended up with a 3.0 (but had overall GPA of 3.4 during the last two years). I took
Manhattan GMAT earlier this year and did ok....I am thinking of starting to study again with Knewton, but rumor has it that it wont help me much with Quant.
Can anybody help me set up an strategy to improve my quant and overall GMAT score. Due to the fact that aside from the GMAT/GPA I have an excellent background (I am also an international/minority student) I believe that if I were to get at least a 680 I should be able to get into most schools. Any suggestions?
Also if you think Knewton should be the way to go please explain if they helped you on Quant? (their money back guarantee would be lovely in my case as 50 more points would allow me to get to most places I need to)
