Guys,

Lets make this thread a motivational Advise, a Quote or an experience for all the GMAT Takers

Let me Start....

Following are a few points which I collected from some sources including gmatclub

- Make a fixed daily routine
- Visualize success - ex - visualize a 750 score on screen, everyday before sleep
- Identify the factors that make you feel happy/ your turn on's...And try to do them regularly
- Make a -ve/+ve thought converter dairy. Always write down your -ve thoughts in your dairy, and Write a answer/+ve thought correspondingly. And read that, whenever that -ve thought comes again in your mind.
- Don't kill your happiness/leisure activities for GMAT, else GMAT can take away your happiness ( contrary to what most people think)

Hey!

I really like your motivation thread that you started but what is the reason for writing this in a diary?

Make a -ve/+ve thought converter dairy. Always write down your -ve thoughts in your dairy, and Write a answer/+ve thought correspondingly. And read that, whenever that -ve thought comes again in your mind.

I didn't quite understand the reasoning behind doing that. Care to elaborate? Thanks buddy.

I do understand that.

Let me explain with an example. For example your fear is - "GMAT is really tough, my mocks scores are killing me" - you can convert it into a +ve thought "mock scores can't judge my actual GMAT scores. There are many people who have never got a 650+ in GMAT but manager a 700+. I just have to maintain my calm and give my best"

Very true...Writting -ve and solving it by ur +ve would really help. Like in my case I write diary, many a times you feel -ve because of mood swings or may have bad gmat prep day because of your bad mood. writting this experience and again writting +ve against it will help you come over your -ve whenever it happens next.

----Thats very true, At times i spend both sat/sun sitting at home only doing gmat, at the end of the weekend you feel srustrated and cant go on with your routine for another long week ahead...hence its required to take time for leisure to stick to gmat prep for a longer time.

True ! Try reading this book - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Secret_%28book%29

This book helped me a lot in conquering the negative energies. I think success is a singularity. I think dreaming about "770" emotion fills me with inexplicable and exquisite sensations and I can feel adrenalin running through my veins.

11 days?!?!? Good Luck!!! I have my GMAT in 18 days, After I wake up tomorrow, it will only be 17 days from then! AHHHHH We can do this!!!
