I need to know how people are studying for this exam. I keep on hearing of people scoring 700-740. I can barely score a 550 and i have been studying for 1-2 hours 3-4 days a week and also have a tutor....Im lost and fustrated...
Need TIPS or some motivation...need help from above

This exam is not tough. But it does take practice. Take some mock tests (GMAC's or some test prep company's). Find out your weak areas. Work on the concepts in those areas.
Don't focus on just 'how should I solve such a question'. Focus on 'why should I solve it this way'. Most people who score above 700 will tell you that their fundamentals are quite clear. They don't just learn up the formulas and expect to get questions where they can use them. They know they will need to twist questions around to get them in a format where they can use their basic concepts.
For that, it is very important to know your basics well. To break the 700 barrier, you will need to put in that effort. Ask your tutor to explain you the 'WHY' of every step. Also, DS and CR are strategy intensive formats. There are numerous traps in both these question formats. Work on how to approach every question type and what to focus on.
