Have you ever thought of doing a pre MBA internship
I am from a typical IT industry. Have been working in a globally reputed MNC for past 2.5 years. I have decided now that enough is enough. IT is not my cup of tea. I would be thousand times happier doing what I like even though the returns are decent (not that I am getting a lot now....
). So I have decided to give GMAT and pursue an MBA either in Consulting or Finance.
Agreed that each is an ocean in itself, but atleast I have decided which ocean
. So I have started my preperation for GMAT. One thing is for sure that I do not want to continue in my present job. I think I better work in an area that will help me get an admission in a BSchool and also help me after my MBA.
So what I am looking now is an internship. Basically a pre MBA internship. I have been sitting in front of my computer till 12:30 in the night everyday looking for an internhip ... This has been going on for the past 2 months. Mind you .... EVERY SINGLE DAY ..... No luck. Not even one. 99% of these are filled up by contacts. Rest 1% by the time you come to know, its already gone...
So I would like to hear your stories. If you did get an internship, how did you get it. If you did not, what have you been doing to get it.
This will help people like me and those who silently read the posts but do not post anything.
