Hey Gmatclubbers~!
So I've been studying for 3 months straight, and I've been giving it 110% of my attention. I'm talking 4 hours/weekday 8-10hours/ weekend average. But I am slow to read and absorb information, so that likely equates to 20 hours regular person time. Anyways I've come a long way since my first GMAT prep attempt in late october at 540 (Q-36 V-34). On practice tests along the way I've gotten:
Princeton - (Q - 40 V-41) (don't know the overall cus i had to do each separately)
GMAT Prep 1 (2nd attempt NO repeats) (q 46 V 41) 710
MGMAT 1 (Q 45 V 40) 700
MGMAT 2 (Q43 V 41) 700
But just today, after spending the weekend reviewing all the
MGMAT math books and doing the OG quant questions with it, I did another practice test this morning and...
MGMAT 3 (Q44
V 32!!) 630
I had brain freeze during the quant section, I know it was going well then I couldn't remember how to set up some standard mixture problems, as well as probability problems.
I don't even know what happened in the verbal section. I got all kinds of SC questions and RC questions wrong, which have been my strongest areas so far.
Should I just rule this one out as an anomaly? I did basically just wake up and start the test, I didn't do any warm up questions like I have on previous tests, and I hadn't reviewed any verbal strategies since friday when I did the
MGMAT 2.
I've heard alot about burnout, but how can one tell if that's what's plaguing him/her?
Thoughts?
Thanks~!
