Hi Vincent,

As bmillan said, most guidebooks (such as Kaplan's Premier book) have everything you need to know about the DS question type. If you're still mystified about Data Sufficiency, that tell me that more or different books probably aren't going to help.

I'd recommend trying a different method of learning. For instance, there are lots of free videos explaining the DS process, such as this one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Puo6Ja9HBG8. For a more detailed option, you could consider an online video course such as Kaplan's GMAT On-Demand. One way or another, I strongly suspect that if you see and hear someone working through the thought process of some DS questions, you'll feel a lot more confident than you would just reading strategies from a book!

You should keep an error log when doing practice problems as well as practice tests. This way you know where your shortcomings are as well and don't need to wait for a practice test to determine how to overcome them.

An error log does not need to be complicated. My error log was a piece of paper, a pen, and specific markings to identify different things.
