Is the time given to reading directions (for SC, RC, CR) part of the 75 minute limit? Or are we given extra time for that?
I think that the general directions are given just prior to the timed portion of the test. The best thing to do is read these before even going to the test center. That way you don't lose time or energy on the test day.

Yes, I plan on reading beforehand. I was wondering if we are given a pause period to read the directions. This would be helpful because then I could use this time to take a quick mental break. But if reading the directions is part of the GMAT test time, then it won't be worth it to take a break during the direction period. That's why I'm asking. Anyone know for sure what the case is with the timing on the GMAT directions portion?
