hello everybody!!!!
gave my mgmat free sample test two days back.got 550 ,Q40,V27,
I prepared notes for my quant from mgmat strategy guides but didn revise before appearing for exam,as far as verbal is concerned didn prepare at all from any material.i have mgmat strategy guides [all of them] , og 12th edition.
I have been reading some novels from three years,though not like a book worm but whatever words i got from those books i can use them just like very basic words.I know that my english has improved over time but still my scores r very bad.
what should i do n where should i start?? should i put some more efforts to improve my basics...
i got almost half of them right in all the three sections of english[rc,sc,cr]
please help me out!!!!!!

You should try build basic conceptions. Try Manhattan books to RC and Sc and Power Bible to CR.

Complete og 10 and 12 before appearing for any GMAT mocks. Please analyse your mistakes and make it a habit to find out where exactly you went wrong. Don't be over confident in Quants, although you have scored a decent 40 but you still need lots of practice.
Make proper notes for SC and CR. Revise them daily and especially before appearing for the mocks, give your exams under time based actual conditions and give the whole deal in one shot.
If you do above mentioned things properly and with true dedications then you can touch 700 in 3 months. Dont loose hope and evernight before going to bed try to recall what new things have you learned today.
