700-800 level SC - Monsters!

Question

OG12 SC hard questions are mostly full sentences, and primarily are questions with multiple rhetorical and modifier errors. Is that true that most of the 700-800 level questions are like that?

Can people who consistently score mid-40s please chime in, and kindly tell me what strategy should I follow to improve these LONG sentence errors?

I have seen that to get these questions correct, one ALSO needs to understand what the author of the sentence is trying to convey. As sometimes purely grammatical sentence appears completely moot when you try understand the whole sentence.

Solving these questions in < 1 mins is becoming a big challenge. It takes me ~1:30 mins or more to get these questions correct. Any tips?

Advanced SC questions will test multiple topics in a single question. Some will be whole sentences underlined, some will be very long sentences with a part of it underlined, but generally ALL advanced problems test multiple concepts.

Advanced problems will take longer to solve. This is why we stress average times. On lower ranked problems you should be below average time. This will afford you extra time on the more higher ranked problems while still keeping your averages on point to finish the test.

Thanks mohater, now I have been targeting 45 seconds instead of 1 min for SC. Yesterday, I tried that. So for small sentences I am
Hoping for 45 sec, for medium ones 1 min and for long ones 1:15-1:30.

As Mohater pointed out, the most challenging SC questions test multiple concepts. But the struggle isn't limited to the passage; the answer choices are also more difficult to eliminate.

Yea, mere knowledge of grammar is far from sufficient in some hard SC questions. You can't get the writers intention and you'll easily lose some grammar twists and underlying structure.
