Arbitrageur
I got a 700 when i took it a few years back. My quant percentile was only in the 70's, and i'm planning on re-applying to wharton/booth/columbia next year. So I have time to prepare and hopefully get around 740-750.
Which prep course do you guys recommend? I did knewton online, but it didn't really do much. And I've gone through the
manhattan gmat books as well.
Thanks.
If you've already gone through many books and a guide, there must be some fundamental shortcoming in quant.
Do you know what aspect of math drags you down (problem solving, word problems/word translation, algebra, geometry, simply trig, etc.)?
If it's math alone, you might want to check out Jeff Sackmann's Total Math Guide:
https://www.totalgmatmath.com/It's expensive, but many people here have benefited greatly from the detailed explanations and instructions.
Otherwise, browse the math forum and do the problems there. Read the explanations and figure out where you're messing up. Keep an
error log and work on your weakest subsections first, and work your way to more advanced sections (to break that 80 percentile mark).
Good luck,
