but a 43rd percentile quant score would be seen as a major weakness in applications

...I am a CFA Level 3 candidate (passed level 1 and 2), do you think this would help offset any concerns about a low quant score?

It should help offset it to some degree, but the point here is that you'll get much more out of studying quant than studying verbal with your final few days.

So focus your studies exclusively on quant and good luck!
