Today, I gave a GMAT full length test for the first time in my life and scored 530 42Q 21V. I have been preparing from the past 2.5 months diligently. I ran out of time in the Verbal section. At a point in verbal section, I had to cover 20 questions in 22 mins. One question after another was very overwhelming on verbal section to me. I am very very disheartened by this score after 2.5 months of hard labor and feel like dropping the idea of giving this exam. I was thinking of giving this exam in December and my target score is 670+.
So far I have covered the following material-
OG 12th edition
MGMAT 8 books
Veritas Combinatorics and Probability book
Aristotal SC Grail
GMATClub Grammar book
GMAT club questions for SC and CR
PowerPrep CR bible
My accuracy rate in OG is 65% for verbal and 72% for quant.
I feel as if I have wasted last 2.5 months of my life. I can certainly improve on Quant, for verbal I feel I am almost prepared.
Please advise.
