Hi Everyone,
This is officially my second GMAT Club post (hello everyone) and I really need your help. I decided to take the GMAT again (for the fourth time) after not studying for 3 months. On my last GMAT attempt in October I received a 610 (38/36) I have been studying for the past 2 weeks and have received the following scores:
MGMAT Test 1: 620 (36/38)
MGMAT Test 2: 660 (42/38)
MGMAT Test 3: 640 (45/33)
Truth be told, I have mostly focused on Math because that is my primary area of weakness and I THOUGHT I was improving...until today.
This afternoon I took a GMAT Prep Test and scored a 560 (36/36). I do not want to change my test date but find such a wide discrepancy in my scores perplexing (especially given that MGMAT Tests tend to be more challenging than GMAT Prep tests). I really need to get a 650+ by Jan 30th so any assistance would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Hi- If I were you I would take the other GMATprep test and see where I stand. If that is above 650, one could assume the 500+ score was a one time accident/ nervousness/ blah blah and take a chance to give it on the 30th.. is this the first time you are going those MGMATs?

With a 33-38 range in Verbal, I would focus on verbal some more, too. It can help bump your score up considerably.
You need to consider diminishing returns. If it's going to take 10 more hours to bump up your Quant raw score by 2 points, but only 2 hours to bump your Verbal score up by 2 points, you're better off divvying up your time based on that.
