I was just reading the Manhattan Gmat "Gmat uncovered" guide and it says this:
I am not sure if this means that the format could be "all CR first, then all RC, then all SC" or it could be "1 SC question, then all RC questions for passage #1, then 3 CR questions, then all RC questions for passage #2, then 8 SC questions... and so on"
Likewise, does anyone know the exact format for the quant section? It says they can be in any order, again not sure if that means it could be all questions for one type, followed by all questions by the other type, or if you could have them alternate throughout the exam?

In quant you will get random DS and PS questions. You will not get ALL of DS followed by ALL of PS. They will go back and forth, and get harder or easier depending on how you're doing.
This is the same for the verbal section. You will randomly get CR, RC, and SC in any order, but not all grouped together. For example you could get 1 CR, followed by an RC passage, then 2 SC questions, followed by 2 CR, etc....
