Hi all,
I am new on this forum and I have been looking over it for the past two days. I have two months to prepare for the GMAT and score above 650.
Any suggestions for how to prepare myself?
I was thinking of focusing first on the Quantitative part and then the Verbal part. In the meantime, I want to read books to improve my speed on reading. In the second month, 2 weeks before the test, I was thinking of focusing only on practice tests.
As books I have the GAMT 12th ed. review book, the GMAT Premier 2012 from Kaplan. I also have the verbal review book and I just ordered the Quantitative review book (the official guide).
I am also working towards a research master degree but I intend to spend at least 4 hours per day on the GMAT. It is very important for me to pass this test because a PhD position depends on it.
There are so many resources available and I am not sure which are the best to use given the short time framework I have. I want to be smart in my preparation.
Any help would be highly appreciated!
Thank you!
Laura
