Hey fellow GMAT warriors,
This weekend I took my 3rd practice CAT. While my score was 20 pts less than the CAT I took last weekend, I felt like I achieved huge progress in the 7 days.
I was able to bring up my quant score from 44 to 45. However, in both sections I ran out of time at the end, forcing me to guess or solve within 30 seconds for the last 4-5 questions (most of which were incorrect). This dropped my verbal from a 42 to a 38.
I'm not worried by these results but it does demonstrate to me that with 25 days before g-day, I need to be incorporating timing drills into my daily studies. What have you guys used to practice timing?
My current plan is to go through the OG guide for the second time, this time strictly timing myself to 2 minutes per question. Afterwards I'll review the types of problems that consistantly put me over time and rework my study strategy to identify why they take me longer.
Hoping to hear what's worked for everyone else, all advice is appreciated!
