Hi- thanks for response Geroge,
I used
mgmat guides, kaplan math workbook, og 10 and 12, a couple veritas workbooks- great problems, and thats about it. It's not a content issue- I really do know the material. What scares me most is that I wasn't in that "this test defines me" mode. If I was, I could may attribute the drop in the score to that but I wasnt. Obviously for the first few questions my heart was pounding out of my chest but I think it slowed down- its hard to remeber, went so fast. Verbal I really wasn't nervous at all... I had in my mind that I was probably going to take it again so what ever happens happens... So imagine if i really was freaking out haha.
My scores for
mgmat cat's, 3 were 670, one I think 690 and another 650 If i recall. My gmat prep were both 650 I think. I wasn't expecting a 700 yet I thought I would be fine with a 650 for the first try even though I am going for a 700.
I think I underestimated verbal- especially SC. So that has been my main focus now. I have no trouble at all with CR. There are those random ones that are difficult to understand the sitiuation but theres nothing I can do for those- there rare also. I am hoping to increase my SC accuracy and timing to spend more time making sure im correct about the RC. I just took my first
mgmat cat after 2 weeks of studying and got a 700, 47 quant 38 verbal.. broke 700 for the first time- feels awesome!
