Below is my test record. My verbal is very unstable.
Manhattan CAT 1 Q42 V34 630 (Before prep)
CAT 2 Q46 V33 650
CAT 3 Q46 V33 650
GMAT Prep 1 Q49 V18 560
CAT4 Q47 V34 670
GMAT Prep2 Q49 V30 660
Real GMAT Today Q47 V19 540
It's disappointing for sure but I am not sad. I was running out of time going through all OG and all Manhattan books for verbal. But I do not understand why my verbal is so unstable. Now sure if there is anything else I can do. I signed up for E-GMAT for Verbal but it has been helpful with understanding but didn't help my score a lot.
Shall I work harder on Math to improve my total score?
My goal is still 700-730 and I want to get my second exam in August.
I worked so hard for this test. 2-3 hrs per day weekday and 5+hrs per day on weekends. Really need some advice how I shall prep for my second round.

How did you feel after the exam compared to how you felt after the practice tests?
Have you considered some psychological elements? Try to visualize you are actually sitting in the exam center during your study time to best mimick the exam conditions during your study time.
Clearly, you've gone through many questions. Make sure you don't let yourself go to bed until you understand what you got wrong that day. Wake up the next day and revisit those questions to maximize your retention. Then introduce new material.
Take a breather and keep your head in the game.

Thank you for your reply.
The only thing I felt going wrong is that I didn't have dinner last night and had a light breakfast. Therefore, when I had verbal, I was very hungry and dizzy. Not sure if this justify my bad score but I do need to improve my verbal at some point.
