There is no CD version of the book for the official guide. The closest you get is the powerprep software which can be downloaded for free.

The link to the powerprep download is here: https://www.mba.com/mba/TaketheGMAT/ToolsToHelpYouPrepare/GMATPrepProducts/PowerprepSoftware.htm

The latest edition for the OG now, is the 10th Edition. An 11th edition that's slated for September, but that date is only tentative (and I say tentative because you know these dates are never accurate). It claims to have less questions than the current edition, but will come with more detailed explanations. Also, a verbal OG will be released along with the 11th edition. It acts as a 'filler' for the verbal section from the 11th ed OG (I gather the verbal guide will just throw in the verbal questions that are in the 10th ed, but not printed in the 11th ed, but that's just my guess).

Out of curiousity, how did you find out the 11th edition was tentatively coming out in September? I asked the MBA store and they said sometime "early summer". The only reason I ask is because I plan to take my GMAT in September but would like to use this new edition to start my review.

I read it somewhere but can't recall the link. But I did come across another link that says early summer. So we can't be sure. I would advise getting the 10th Edition since the newer edition isn't going to be any different, since they are all the same retired questions. Also, by their saying ' more detailed explanations', you can't be sure how detailed that is. So the best thing is to get the 10th ed, and post the questions up here in the forum for discussion if you're not sure what the solutions are trying to put across. :-D
